Pupils and staff from the four schools, which joined together formally as a MAC in March 2015, assembled at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy for a lovely celebration of Holy Mass led by Bishop David McGough, assisted by Fr Brendan Carrick, Dean of Wolverhampton as well as representatives of the deanery clergy who have close links with the schools: Fr Stephen Goodman, chaplain to Our Lady and St Chad, who has links with both St Mary’s and Corpus Christi, and Fr Craig Fullard, who has links with Holy Rosary. They were supported by Deacons Frank Lockett and Steve Tuck. Children and staff from all four schools as well as Directors, Academy representatives and visitors took part in a joyful and prayerful celebration to mark the start of our new journey as a MAC.
